Ppal-let-ter (wash place) is a new digital space for ajummas.  As an imaginary space that has been planned and created based on interdisciplinary research and creative concept of thinking, I have carefully considered how to present the concept of digital ppal-let-ter to people. In this ppal-let-ter, ajummas can communicate with each other and furthermore they will create and reshape their own unique culture. At the same time, this creative project will be shared with everyone whether they are ajummas or non-ajummas. This project will address people to rethink about the images of ajummas positively that have been represented negatively in various Korean media. Hopefully this project will bring ajummas to the ppal-let-ter where used to be their communal spaces in the 1960s.
